In honor of Halloween, I’m going to shine light on a scary piece of information:

Boo! There is MSG in 80% of processed food-like products, including ones that you find in major “health food” grocery chains, such as Whole Foods.

Free Range Chicken Broth

The front of this box, bought from Whole Foods, says “organic, free range, chicken broth, low sodium, all natural”; it sounds so pure, natural and healthy why would you even bother to read the label?

Autolyzed Yeast Extract

Looking more closely you’ll find that it contains “autolyzed yeast extract”, which is just another form of MSG.

MSG is also disguised by the following names: E621, monosodium glutamate, glutamic acid, hydrolyzed vegetable oil, torula yeast, autolyzed yeast, sodium caseinate, and monocalcium glutamate. These contain free glutamic acid, a highly addictive excitotoxin. Found in ready-made soups, potato chips, sauces, and cookies.

Eating MSG in an organic, all natural labeled product is scary.

Eat natural whole foods with no ingredients.  If you buy packaged foods, read and learn the labels.
